We have a stunning patio area, right next to the pool. In summer we spend a lot of time outside so we had a very good reason to buy a patio bar set. Of course you can wipe down furniture and look after it by covering it but that is just going to add to your list of things to do. I can almost guarantee that you eventually will not find the time to clean and care for it all.

But plastic will not go rotten and it is ideal in humid regions. Just be careful of really cheap plastic because it is weak and will break sooner than you think. This is most likely an area where you will spend a lot of time in the summer months. Make sure it is going to be somewhere that you feel relaxed and content. But also remember that as much as you might like nice looking furniture, it might not always look so great because the weather will damage it quicker than if it were inside.
